Cook pasta according to package directions.
Remove casing from sausages and cook in a large pot over medium - high heat, breaking up into bite size pieces. Cook all the way through, about 15 minutes.
Add green onions and cook an additional 5 minutes until they are getting soft and darker green.
Add crushed tomatoes, salt, red pepper, and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add pasta into sauce, stir to coat pasta. Serve with fresh basil and cheese.
